We have been on an emotional roller coaster for weeks, and it continues. Our housing and funding is not all finalized but we still planned to join the team as those things get worked out.
We were to depart for Tanzania on Sunday the 9th, but that may be delayed. The issue now is our residency permit, which we were told would be no problem by the immigration office, but is now being held up.
It is hard to explain how we feel. At first we were down. Then Ron and I smiled at each other and felt a real peace come over us. proverbs 3:5-6 So we are going ahead with what we planned to do this week and are asking everyone to pray for the situation to resolve quickly.
This is one of those times when we should be down but instead are feeling up! Actually it is energizing to be in situations where the only way things will work out is when God makes it happen.
So, we are waiting to see what is next and will keep you posted.

I came from the link on Pam's blog. Just wanted to let you know my husband and I will be praying for your permit to come through and that you will see God's reason for allowing this delay.
