My daughter and I both have birthdays in July. We are a lot alike and have fun together. So, this year we are celebrating in Glenwood Springs together, just the girls. It looks like we will be river rafting and shopping and going to the hot springs, and maybe even swinging out over the canyon on a slingshot- yikes!
This will just add to the many memories of Glenwood; meeting my future husband the day I moved there from Nebraska, caving on my first date, getting stuck in the mud "jeeping" when 9 months pregnant, hanging out at the park during Strawberry Days, 'Doc Holidays', working nights in OB at the hospital, getting married in a field, getting lost camping on the Flat Tops, playing for the Richmond Cup.
What fun to have your kids turn into friends that you can just hang out with.
One of the blessings of my life.

That is a sweet sentiment Jane Ann, we just returned from two weeks visiting Athens, Rome, Florence and Venice, we took the girls with us and had so much fun! They are off to college in the fall and I will miss them terribly. Have fun with your daughter.
