What is 1625?

Dear friends wanted to have a garage sale to buy us a cow. In Africa some people need cows for milk, but I don't think we will be needing that. We will need tools so Ron can do his work as the facilities manager of the mission center. The list was compiled, and the target was set- $1625!

So they set out to raise the money and last week they had that garage sale.

In the midst of prayer and laughter and bargaining here is what happened:

• selling a 70's daybed in 20 minutes
• a buyer mowing the yard
• meeting people with connections to Africa
• lowering and raising and lowering prices
• $2 boxes full of treasures
• men shopping for butterfly pins

Mostly it was a 1625 miracle to buy $1625 worth of tools.
