playing 'corn hole'

Here is Lulu getting the hang of this game.

All of us need something fun to do after a long hard day at school or work. So Ron brought a game here to Africa from our family back in the United States, corn hole. He made the board & Judy made the corn bags.

Next we needed to teach them the rules. That was interesting as they are good at making up rules for things. First they were subtracting the low score from the high score?? Doing that the game never ends, oh brother. After a few days and laughter we think they have it.
Here you can see the students in the background watching & learning & getting ready to get in the game.

These days you can find someone throwing a bag just about any time of the day.
Ron & Steve get to enjoy it for a bit too. Not long after they began, students came to jump in. Even the mama's get in on the action, which is unusual here.
The staff stay on long after their shifts are finished just to play & laugh a bit. John & Loserian want to win this one!

You know we even get to teach them that God wants us to play & have fun, to work together with others to accomplish something, to cheer each other on.

I think God is smiling down on this Corn Hole Game.
