. . . we are back

After an April full of team meetings, travels through Kenya, and packing for 7 months away- we are finally back! It is wonderful and strange to be here.

Some first impressions:

-thank you to my sweet TZ team for having me come back early to spend some precious time with Nicole getting things in place for her wedding, we are having a terrific time full of fun memories!

-the older I get the harder it is for me to be away from my husband, my life jacket & anchor, my cheer leader & coach, my bed warmer, my laughter, my MAN!

-things that seem a bit strange: nobody is walking, it is light before 7am, you don't need cash to buy things, I miss hearing & speaking Swahili, it is COLD, soooo many choices!

-time moves so quickly that I feel like I am in slow motion!

-tough to live without a computer and car, so am totally thankful to have both in place now!

-though I seem to be crossing many things off of my to do list each day it gets bigger, but that is part of the fun of this our home assignment: the unexpected, the surprises, the changes, the challenge of keeping up with what ever comes next!

Up next: Nicole's wedding shower and Joe's big show on Saturday the 22nd!
