A knock at the door and an ask for help led Ron on a night journey. He drove to the nearby clinic and picked up a workers sister-in-law who had just died. Three guys from the training center carried her out covered with a blanket lying on a foam matrice, and slid her into the back of the cruiser. Ron receives a paper saying the woman died at 5pm, I guess in case he gets stopped or something. And off he goes to find a hospital with refrigeration until the funeral. No one really knows where to go. So after many stops and some time for Ron to wait in the truck alone with his cargo, they find a place that will take her. A very old man hobbles up wheeling a gurney to the truck, they lift her off of the matrice and keep the blanket to take back to the clinic. Home they went, the guys grateful for the help. Minus Ron's assistance they would have had to 'pay' a taxi to come out and take her into town.
Interesting what we take for grated right?!
