Since we are here in Colorado for awhile, Ron found some side work to keep him busy. It is in Colorado Springs at the army base doing some remodeling. Simple right?
OK, that is 150 miles round trip each day and we have an old car with old tires. So, we needed to buy tires.
Then, in order to get into the Army Base you need to have a current registration and license plates. Upon checking, we had Washington plates that had expired last August, nice! Guess our renewal did not follow us through the mail to our new address. So, we needed to get Colorado plates.
Well, to get those plates we needed to have an emissions test. This car has 172,000 miles and burns oil pretty regularly, so we were thinking it would not even pass the test. Is this all worth it?
"This is your car God", I said while waiting in line to get the emission checked. It passed the test, I got Colorado plates, we put on new tires, and Ron is driving to Colorado Springs every day.
I guess we can't forget the details--
