Recently I was asked what I will miss while living in Africa? Not sure how to answer that yet, but it made me do some thinking. Here are some things that have come to mind; Pedicures which are a pretty new enjoyment for me but I have found it to be very relaxing to have someone massage my feet, My bed has been a haven for many years as I need and love to get 8+ hours of sleep each night and we finally got a new good one after 20 years of hand-me-downs, Going to the movies is one thing that Ron and I have started scheduling to do on our Saturday afternoon dates, Iron Chef is a cooking competition on TV that is fun and interesting and fast paced and has me wanting to eat at one of Mario Batali's restaurants in New York City before I die, Grandma's rocking chair is full of memories and even carries a miracle story I will share sometime but most of all I love sitting and rocking and reading in a corner early in the morning, Trader Joes has the most wonderful peach salsa, Calling my daughter Nicole whenever I want just to say Hi is a habit I have gotten into and it is a hard one to think about not having the ability to do, Book stores are a favorite place for me to spend free time just wandering around and getting ideas on what I want to read and learn about next, Chipotle is a restaurant that is full of memories along with having what has become comfort food like burritos and taco salad's that are fresh and flavorful but not too hot for me, Holding Ron's hand in public might be an interesting thing to give up as it is not culturally appropriate in some African countries but it is something we do without even thinking about after all these years, and finally there is having a coffee shop on every corner open almost every hour of the day or night- what can I say, I live in Seattle.
What would be on your list?

I'm going to miss calling you whenever I want too! Getting advise from you the minute that I need it is pretty nice. I'll just need to patient from now on and wait for our scheduled calls :)
