We took our first trip of 2012 to take Wendy to language school. Our travels took us through the Serengeti and the annual migration of wildebeest. It was an amazing sight, over 2 million animals all slowly trekking in one direction. But along the way we had some troubles with flat tires, and in this huge park there are no handy service stations. In the end Ron changed 5 tires and we had an unplanned overnight stay in the park. We have lots of funny stories of that 24 hours but what happens in the park stays in the park. :-)
Thankfully we reached Musoma to drop her off before school began.
And we got to enjoy relaxing one evening on the shores of Lake Victoria.
No we did not get in the water, it is full of parasites!
