We are saying good bye again to our friends and family. It is not easy trying to find the right words. Here is a song from Geoff Moore that I really like and I think expresses what Ron & I feel but can't always say.
Too soon, so fast
Time must fly the way its past
And I'm already missing you
So much to say
Of hopes & fears & prayers we've prayed
I'll be remembering you
The miles won't keep us apart
When you're in my heart
So long, farewell
Goodbye my friend
This is not the end
I'll be there for you
Through sun and rain
Through better days and hurricanes
I'll be believing in you
Remember what we always said
Live with no regrets
So long, farewell
Goodbye my friend
This is not the end
I'll be there for you
God make His face
To shine on you & bring you peace
I pray this blessing for you
So dream your biggest dream
And don't fear anything
And dust off those wings
And get ready to fly!

Great song! I especially like the last stanza: to dream your biggest dream, not to fear, and get ready to fly! I will apply this wisdom as Hunter and I enter through the gate called "retirement"! Our prayers go with you!
