Esther & Nicole, got a dog from the Dumb Friends league. Her name is Panda, a corgi mix, who is about 8 years old. Still adjusting to her new home of only 3 weeks you can tell anything new gets her anxious. Each day is better, with her learning a different home and new ways of doing things. I am so thankful they decided to give this sweet dog a new home, but it hasn't been easy. Their patience and calmness with her is helping her be more confident and trusting, but it will take a long time, I can see that.
As I watch her, it is funny to think about Ron and I and what is ahead. After living one way for 50 years (about the same as Panda in dog years- HA) we will need to adjust to new ways and I hope we and others have patience and calmness as we learn the new culture rules and begin to trust others.
I know we will make mistakes and changing might take a little longer for us than the younger crowd but pray we and Panda all get there.

An interesting story! Yes, I too, hope both you guys and the dog can adjust to new living quarters. As you said it will take time but it will happen as God helps you along the way. Love, Mom
