Who's got a shovel?

We just weathered a major wind storm and power outage here in the Northwest, and now have plans to spend Christmas in Denver. You know what happened- another storm only snow this time. My flight was canceled so I am trying to get there on stand-by (like every other person who had a ticket on Wednesday or Thursday). The plan is to spend the next 24 hours at the airport standing in line.

I could be mad, wish I had planned differently, give up, start making all sorts of alternative plans, be sad, take it out on Ron (who has a ticket for Saturday night by the way), or just cry.

Instead I am smiling at my kids in the snow. They borrowed a shovel, and dug their way out of their apartment yesterday.

So, for today--

..do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

We are definitely having a white Christmas in Denver this year.

Your positive attitude has really helped me not get too frustrated with all the snow and not knowing when we will get to see you guys this holiday.

Hopefully this storm won't be as bad as the last! See you soon~Nicole
